Tension optimisation
The carcass tension distribution for the tyre sidewall directly
affects the performance of tyre. Carcass tension optimisation maximises steering
stability and comfort.
Tyre profile optimisation
The new tyre profile is optimised to enhance the performance of
the tyre by uniformly expanding the centre and shoulder region of the contact
area.
Good contact pressure optimisation
General tyre performance under normal wear and breaking depends
on a ground contact profile and pressure distribution of the tyre. ESCOT
technology optimised the ground contact profile and pressure distribution to
maximise wear and braking capability.
ESCOT Technology
ESCOT is an abbreviation for Excellent and Smart Contour
Optimisation Theory, which is Kumho's advanced technology to promote safe and
comfortable driving. It sustains the performance of the tyre by maintaining its
shape throughout the speed range. At the same time, the tyre maintains its
ground contact pressure distribution to enhance tread life and braking
capability, and also optimises the carcass tension to improve steering stability
and comfort. |
